Spaetzle

Ingredients:

2 or 3 portions

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3  to 1/2 cup water or milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt

Recipe:

  1. Beat well with a spoon until batter shows air bubbles
  2. Rinse potato ricer or spaetzle maker with cold water.
  3. Press mixture through ricer directly into a large pot of boiling salted water.
  4. Stir and cook until the noodles rise to the top.
  5. Drain and serve.
