Dried cherry sauce for duck

Recipe:

  1. SoakĀ  1 1/4 c. dried cherries inĀ 2 TB triple sec or brandy and 1/2 cup orange juice For 30 minutes.
  2. Combine cherries and their juices with1 1/2 cups dry red wine. Bring to boil and simmer 3 to 4 minutes
  3. Add 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  4. 2 tsp honey simmer 3 minutes more.
  5. Add 1 1/2 cups veal or chicken stock and reduce by half.
