In Advance:
Preheat oven to 400º
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt
- 12 canned peach halves, drained
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup heavy cream
Recipe:
- Pulse butter, flour, baking powder, and salt in processor until crumbly with some pieces the size of small peas.
- Pat into 9×13 baking pan., covering bottom and sides
- Arrange peaches, cover with sugar and cinnamon and bake at 400º for 15 minutes.
- Lower heat to 350º
- Mix yolks with cream, pour over peaches and bake for 30 minutes longer
