Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 2 lbs canned tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 TB oregano
- 3 TB fresh basil or 2 tsp dried
- 1tsp dried mustard
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Recipe:
- Cook onion in olive oil until soft. Add all other ingredients and simmer in a heavy pot for 1 1/2 hrs covered.
- Uncover and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs.
