Devilled Eggs

These will stink up your fridge and house so keep my son Daniel away!

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 TB Durkees famous sauce
  • S&P
  • paprika

 Recipe:

  1. Cover eggs with water in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, lower heat to lowest setting and cook for 15 minutes. Pour off hot water and run cold water into the pan for 10 minutes. When cool, peel the eggs.
  2. Cut eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove yolks. Mash the yolks, or process them, then add mayonnaise and Durkees Famous Sauce to moisten. Add more mayonnaise if too stiff. Add S&P.
  3. Carefully spoon yolk mixture onto whites or put yolk mixture in a pastry bag and pipe them onto the whites in a decorative pattern. Sprinkle with paprika.

 Notes:

These won’t taste right to you without the Durkees Famous Sauce. It’s available in some supermarkets, but it can be hard to find.
